WordCaptureX Features

WordCaptureX combines a selection tool of words on the screen with a premier word extract technology.

Your customer can select the words on their PC screen using one or more of the following methods.

Using a combination of keyboard and mouse. Select a word by holding a user defined key pressed while clicking with the desired mouse button. Ex. While keeping CTRL key pressed right-click any word on the screen.

Using a mouse gesture. Select consecutive words by holding the user defined key and mouse button pressed while dragging the mouse over desired words.

Using a hotkey. Select the word under mouse cursor by pressing the user defined hotkey. A hotkey can be a single key like F11 or any combination like CTRl-SHIF-C. A separate hotkey can be defined to get the word having the caret.

Hovering the mouse over a word. Select a word by merely positioning the mouse cursor over a word and do not move it for a user defined period of time.

After your customer select the needed word(s) using one of the above methods WordCaptureX does:

• Extract the selected word(s) as clear text and feed your application or web site with them.
• Extract contextual word(s) on the left and right of the selected word.
• Highlight the selected word.
