1 Click login to sites that redirect you to another page to enter your password
Many financial sites ask your username on the first page then redirect you on another page to enter your password. This is a security measure to prevent password theft. Using Web Replay you can still sign into these account with just one click.
We’ll use the Bank of America as a relevant example but you can follow these steps for any other similar login form.
Record the 2-page login sequence
Let's see how it works
1. Go to Bank of America and click the "Record" button from the toolbar (Picture1)
2. You’ll notice on the top of your screen the floating toolbar below. Click "Select username"
3. The mouse cursor turns to a hand cursor. Click the Enter Online ID field to let Web Replay know which is the username field (Picture2)
4. Type your username and click "Sign In"
5. Now you are redirected to another page to enter your password. Type your password and click "Sign In" (Picture3)
6. Click the "Stop rec" button from the floating toolbar and save the macro
If you run this macro Web Replay will navigate to bankofamerica.com, fill in your username then it will enter your password on the next page. Now you’re logged in! |
