Reduce repetitive clicking and typing to 1 Click web macro

To check your emails online you have to do the following repetitive web actions:

  1. Open your Internet Explorer browser.
  2. Enter the URL your online email account.
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Click the Sign in button.
  5. And finally click the Inbox link to see your emails.

You have already learnt in the previous tutorial how to automatically perform steps 1-4 above. Now you are learning how to make Web Replay click the Inbox link for you. (Step 5)

Web Replay saves these steps as a web macro. In the following tutorial you will create your first macro that saves the entire sequence of 5 steps from above. This is just an illustration of the concept, of course you can create macros for any tedious and bothersome repetitive sequence of steps you are doing on the web.

Record your repetitive web actions as 1 click macro

Let’s see how it works with a Yahoo mail account.

1. Navigate to Yahoo MailStart recording your login sequence by pressing the  Record button from Web Replay toolbar (Picture 1) You'll notice below floating toolbar on the top of your screen.

2. Type your username and password on Yahoo page and click the Sign In button as you usually do.

3. Once logged in, click the Inbox link (Picture 2).

4. Click  Stop Rec button in the floating toolbar to save the macro.

From now on you can always reach directly into your Inbox in 1 click.
